Which one to pick?

We are heading into the final stages of the remodel.  The back splash has been ordered and the counters are being installed on Tuesday!  It feels like Christmas!  Right now, I have the dilemma of picking the hardware for the cabinets.  I feel like its accessorizing with jewelry.  Do I want them to be a little more trendy or classical?  After much deliberation I have narrowed it down to handles on all the cabinets.  We won't have any pulls, just handles.  So here are the final two, completely different but both brushed nickel.  One is very modern, the other I feel is much more traditional. 
I like them both, but one more than the other, while Jason likes the complete opposite of me.  So here they are.  If you want to weigh in, I would appreciate it.  Though I will say that as of today I am pretty sure on what I am picking, I think.

Which one to pick?

One of those things...



 In the last post I mentioned that we have had few things that we have looked at and thought that's not right.  Well here is one of those things.

The floating cabinet

Yeah...that just looks wrong.  The guy who helped us design the kitchen told us we needed a 24" cabinet over the fridge.  I am sure in most normal size houses this would have looked totally fine but in our little kitchen it was not working.  Needless to say Trent came to the rescue and fixed it.  It is now flush with all the other cabinets.  Much better!  That picture will be the final reveal. 
Oh yeah, I am waiting for everything to be done to show it all off.  But you do get a glimpse of our fridge, which I am loving!

more remodel

Ok, okay...I have completely slacked off this blogging thing and not because I don't like it but because we have been crazy busy.  Everyday something new gets put in and it is fun!  We have had some moments were we think, that's not how that is supposed to be but then Trent fixes it and all is right with the world again.  I am trying to decide on what all I will post, as I might wait for the big reveal.  Just like HGTV does it! or then again maybe not.  But for now here are some pictures.
